National Claims Service LLC provides support to several freight companies. These companies are assigned a Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC).
The Standard Carrier Alpha Code, a four digit identification, is used by the transportation industry to identify freight carriers in computer systems and shipping documents such as the Government Bill of Lading (GBL), Freight Bill, Packing List, and Purchase Order.
The SCAC Code can be found on several of your move documents. The two most prominent are;
